Created to increase diversity and participation in the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program for contractors and consultants, with a focus on drawing in underserved and underrepresented companies. We provide a seamless process to assist the mentor and protege in navigating the program.

What best describes you?
Protege
We connect experienced PennDOT Contractors & Consultants with new DBE proteges to assist with expanding their experience in the industry, including assisting Contractors with gaining Prequalification Work Codes and Consultants with moving into non-traditional areas of consultation work.
Mentors
We empower prime Contractors & Consultants as mentors to transfer knowledge through the project development process on active projects to help DBE firms become self-sufficient, become long-term business partners, and grow team relationships to include more underrepresented firms to improve participation and eradicate barriers to opportunities.
